Kinlow collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no servers of our own. The app works entirely on your device, including offline.

Information we collect

None. Kinlow has no sign-up, no user profile and no login. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics.

The camera

Kinlow asks for camera access for one purpose: to read the barcode printed on a product in front of you. The camera image is processed on your device to detect the barcode and is never recorded, never stored, and never transmitted anywhere. Only the digits of the barcode are used, and only to look up a row in the database already installed on your phone. You can decline camera access and type the barcode number instead; the app works exactly the same way.

The product data

The test results Kinlow shows are published by the manufacturers themselves. They are compiled into a database that ships inside the app, so looking up a product requires no internet connection and sends no request anywhere. Nobody, including us, can see what you scan.

Third parties

Kinlow contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no social media SDK. No third party receives data from this app. We do not sell, share or disclose any information, because we hold none.

Each result shows the source link published by the manufacturer. If you choose to open one, your browser visits that website, and that website's own privacy policy applies. Kinlow does not open those links on its own.

Children

Kinlow is a tool for parents and caregivers. It is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If a future version of Kinlow ever collects anything, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described here plainly.
